In Ladakh, surnames and common family names aren’t the glue that binds us. Instead, it’s our timeless values that keep us united through the ages. A family-run establishment,
“Nyanjan” in Ladkahi means “Good Listeners.”
Puntsok and Sonam began Nyanjan Guesthouse in 2012 and built the foundation upon three of the deepest values ingrained in every Ladakhi family: “generosity,” inclusivity,” and “hospitality. Their reasoning was simple:
“Make everyone feel welcome and at home by being a good listener.”
“Nyanjan’ symbolizes an invitation to be a part of something larger than oneself. It is a bridge that connects the traveler’s yearning for belonging with the spirit of the land and its people.
